My husband and I drove two hours to get to this auction. We went to the front desk and I will admit we arrived late. So late in fact that the auction was over. Unaware of this fact we went to the front desk and paid and filled out a form. We then literally went out to the auction and walked up to the auctioneer and was told the auction was over I went to collect my deposit and my money back but was told that I could only have my money back for the deposit even though we didn’t see not one car go for auction. NOT ONE.
I have a huge problem with paying for nothing and especially when I wasn’t told it was over I was told that I was late but that it was still going. But that was a mistake on her behalf. I was also told that it was policy and that they (she) the company could not return my money. It was only 10 dollars, but it is the principle of the matter and common decency. It was my first time their and I felt completely cheated.
