This was my first time taking my 2013 Ram 2500 Diesel to a mechanic shop other than the Dodge Dealer on RT18. Boy what I was missing, This shop is absolutely awesome very thorough and detailed oriented. I am not a mechanic by trade but have a good understanding. Ed the owner to the time to explain everything in detail what my truck needed and did not need. Some places will take you to the cleaners on items you really don’t need. I had issues for years with my truck driving at 65MPH on turnpike and brought to dealer many time they were not assertive to fix / repair the problem even when it was under warranty. I drop it off over a few days had them check over the whole entire truck from soup to nuts added new tires and rims along with all the important maintenance that did need to get done. When I arrived I was greeted by Derek the son’s owner we took it for a ride to ensure the work he performed I was satisfied!
A lot of shops won’t take the time at the dealer they just give you your key and oh your truck is down the isle. I don’t like that! They actually care and even gave me there personal cell number! That’s called the ultimate customer experience!
The truck now is 12 years old and the work that was performed I think is better from when I drove off the lot. I will definitely be bring my truck and my families vehicles to Platt’s Performance again. I love that its family owned and they care about the customer satisfaction.
